Silphium was the most precious spice of antiquity — revered by emperors, healers and philosophers. It grew wild only in North Africa and was lost to overharvesting. Its scent is long forgotten. Stora Skuggan reimagines it, weaving modern aroma molecules, the plant's botanical relatives and a base of resins, woods and leather — an olfactory homage to the lost gold of antiquity.
