Theodoros Kalotinis makes his perfumes in Heraklion, Crete — and no one captures sweetness as realistically as he does. Tiramisu, crème brûlée, pistachio latte, lemon tart: his scents smell uncannily like what they promise, which is why he’s called the “king of gourmands.” As the first Greek house of handmade natural perfume, he distills his alcohol from grapes and blends every bottle by hand. Alongside runs a Mediterranean strand — Aegean salt, fig, jasmine of Athens. Playful, warm, his own.
