Calma Compania — founded in Austria in 2024 by Hemma Marenzi and Cornelius Klimt — makes a plant-based mosquito-and-tick spray you’re happy to leave out on the table: frosted glass, a fresh citrus scent from essential oils, none of the bright-yellow plastic. Little wonder it turns up in design hotels and concept stores rather than the pharmacy. Ten percent of profits go to the fight against malaria.
